These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Jake Wells trading as Wells Home Wifi (\"the Provider\") and the person or business purchasing goods or services (\"the Client\"). By booking a service or purchasing hardware, you agree to these terms.

1. Services & Quotations

1.1. All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

1.2. For Wi-Fi installations, the final performance (speed/range) is subject to the limitations of the Client’s Internet Service Provider (ISP) and the physical construction of the building.

1.3. Commercial Services: VoIP and WordPress Security services may be subject to additional service-level agreements (SLAs) or third-party software terms which will be provided at the time of setup.

2. Customer Obligations

2.1. Access: For on-site installations, the Client must provide safe access to the premises at the agreed time. Failure to provide access may result in a call-out fee.

2.2. Information: The Client is responsible for providing accurate information regarding their existing network and site layout.

3. Hardware Sales (Refurbished Laptops)

3.1. Condition: All laptops sold are \"Refurbished.\" This means they have been used previously but have been professionally inspected, cleaned, and restored to full working order.

3.2. Warranty: All refurbished laptops come with a 12-month hardware warranty covering internal components (e.g., RAM, Motherboard, SSD). This does not cover accidental damage (liquid spills, cracked screens), software issues caused by the user, or battery degradation (batteries are consumable items).

3.3. Returns (Residential): In accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, residential clients have 14 days to change their mind and return the hardware for a full refund, provided it is in the same condition as sold.

3.4. Returns (Commercial): B2B sales are final unless the hardware is faulty upon arrival.

4. Payment Terms

4.1. Payment Method: All payments are processed via Jobber (using Stripe or PayPal).

4.2. Deposits: For large installations or bulk hardware orders, a non-refundable deposit may be required before work commences or stock is ordered.

4.3. Subscription Services: VoIP and WordPress Security are billed monthly in advance. Failure to pay may result in immediate suspension of the service.

4.4. Late Payments: We reserve the right to charge interest on late payments at a rate of 8% above the Bank of England base rate.

5. WordPress Security & Digital Services

5.1. While we implement industry-standard security measures, no system is 100% impenetrable. We do not guarantee that a site will never be compromised, but we guarantee to provide the recovery services outlined in your specific plan.

5.2. We are not responsible for site downtime caused by third-party hosting providers or the Client’s own modifications to the site.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1. The Provider shall not be liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, or data loss arising from the use of our services or hardware.

6.2. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total price paid by the Client for the specific service or product in question.

7. Cancellation & Termination

7.1. Installations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may incur a cancellation fee.

7.2. Subscriptions: Monthly services (VoIP/Security) can be cancelled with 30 days' written notice.

8. Governing Law

8.1. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
